Our Mission Statement:
The ‘mass strike’ represents an expression of the power of common people to create fundamental historic and revolutionary social change.
Strike Magazine looks at this process through the medium of art and the ability of artists, despite class boundaries, to break away from the conventions of contemporary aesthetics.
Strike seeks to present new and alternative looks at art, criticism, poetry and culture to the public and to provide an independent publishing medium for artists and writers.
Strike Magazine, established in December of 2012, is the brainchild of Sabrina Hinojosa, Mike Linaweaver and Raul Alonzo. Since its inception, Strike Magazine has welcomed Elyveth Orellana, Beatriz Alvarado and Erika Galindo to the team.
